About Us

We strive to build teams for fans, by fans.

At The Soccer Investors Club, we are a group of passionate soccer fans who love to invest in sports teams and get in on the action. We believe in the excitement and energy of football / soccer and want to be a part of the teams that we love. We source investment opportunities where we can get own part of a soccer or football club, and experience the excitement of soccer from the insider view.

Our Story

Many youth dream of playing professional sports when they are older, but very few have the opportunity to do so. They go on to business, law, medicine, farming, finance or other industries, and continue to support their love of football or soccer as they get older by going to games or watching them on tv. We are in an age where many industries have experienced democratization, from investing in wine, to investing in Broadway, to fractional ownership of artwork. Our group of accredited investors look for opportunities to invest in football. Our founders are some of the leaders in the entertainment technology and producing fields.

The Soccer Investors Club was founded in 2023 by Jason Turchin and Jim McCarthy. As they were fielding soccer investments from friends and members of their network, they thought there could be an opportunity to leverage the power of a group to get involved in a game they both love.

Jason Turchin started playing soccer around age 6. Back then they called it "magnet ball" where the little kids would flock to the ball as it rolled across the field. He is an attorney, author and entrepreneur, owner of the Law Offices of Jason Turchin, creator of the first attorney app called the My Attorney app, and #1 best selling author on Amazon in Accident Law. He’s also the founder of The Broadway Investor's Club, and producer of numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, films and music projects.

Jim McCarthy is a lifelong player, coach and fan of soccer. As the co-founder and CEO of Goldstar, Jim has sold more than $1b of tickets to live events like theatre, sports, and music in his career. He’s an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, a member of the advisory board at the Rose Bowl Institute, and did his undergrad work at Harvard University and an MBA at the Anderson School at UCLA.
